Your on board accommodation
This is in a standard, outside-facing two berth cabin on the main deck with private facilities and air-conditioning. We are pleased to discuss details on request. Cabins and 2 bed suites (with panoramic – floor to ceiling – window) are also available on the upper deck (supplement payable).
DE Willemstad has 40 x 2-bed cabins, 8 suites and 2 x 1-bed cabins. All 2 bed-cabins (approx. 10 m2) are equipped with two beds.Single cabins (approx. 8 m2 ) have one single bed are located on the upper deck and are otherwise equipped with same features as other cabins.
Cabin facilities include: shower and WC, hairdryer, TV, safe (deposit), individually controlled air-conditioning and smaller (non-picture) window with opening ventilation flaps.
Absolutely fabulous holiday from the terrific organisation to the perfect accommodation. We have been on cycling holidays previously in the UK and Europe with a number of different companies but Cycle Breaks are the best. The customer service and support really is second to none. We’ll be back.

On Board Facilities
These include an air-conditioned upper deck panorama lounge with bar; on the main deck, an air-conditioned, comfortable restaurant; a sundeck with space to watch the landscape pass by as well as for the bike storage.
There are programmes for activities on board and optional excursions.
Currency on board: Euro. Mastercard and Visa credit cards accepted.
Important Information
The De Willemstad shipping company reserves the right to make changes of routing and programme. In case of flood or low tide, it reserves the right to bridge parts of passages by buses and in extreme situations, reserves the right to cancel the journey on short notice. No legal right shall be constituted of both situations. (Water level is force majeure). The same applies for officially ordered – previously unannounced – repair work on locks or bridges or in case of undeserved breakdown of engine or power unit.
Please be aware that a cruise ship on the Dutch and Belgian waterways is not only your hotel but also a machine, working with engine power also during the night. Especially crossing locks and bridges – and the preparation work – may cause noise. If you are sensitive to noise, please bring your own ear plugs.
