Italy Bike & Boat – Ave Maria
About our Bike & Boat holiday accommodation in Italy
Our boat and bike tours in Italy around Mantua and Venice feature the barge Ave Maria. Our accommodation on the 40 passenger capacity barge is based on a standard outside-facing 2 bed cabin with private facilities and air-conditioning. We are pleased to discuss details on request.
The other vessel operating on our Italy around Mantua and Venice bike and boat holidays is the 21 passenger capacity barge Vita Pugna.

Your on board accommodation
This is in a standard, outside-facing two berth cabin. All standard cabins are situated on the lower deck.
Ave Maria has 17 cabins. There are 10 standard 2-bed cabins (approx. 11 m2) and are equipped with two single beds next to each other. An overhead drop-down bunkbed is available in 3 of these cabins to accommodate a third person. Cabin facilities include a shower and WC and air-conditioning. Hairdryers are available on request.
In addition, on the lower deck, there are 3 smaller (approx. 7.5 m2) bunkbed cabins also suitable for single occupancy.
Cabins are also available on the upper deck. There are 4 superior 2-bed cabins (supplement payable). Two of these cabins can accommodate up to 4 people by 2 overhead drop-down bunkbeds. Cabin facilities include a shower and WC, air-conditioning and a window which can be opened. Hairdryers are available on request.
Absolutely fabulous holiday from the terrific organisation to the perfect accommodation. We have been on cycling holidays previously in the UK and Europe with a number of different companies but Cycle Breaks are the best. The customer service and support really is second to none. We’ll be back.

I would highly recommend Cycle Breaks – their preholiday customer service is excellent – they listened to what we wanted and planned us a great 4-day break. The holiday itself was brilliantly planned – from ease of navigation to the places it took us through and the places we stayed at. We’ll certainly be back for a different route. Thank you.
