About our Bike & Boat holiday accommodation along the Danube
Our Danube boat and bike tours in Austria, Germany and Hungary feature the cruise ship MS Manon.
Our accommodation on the 150 passenger capacity ship is based on an outside-facing 2 bed cabin on the lower deck with private facilities and air-conditioning. We are pleased to discuss details on request.
The other vessel operating on our Dnube bike and boat holidays is the 140 passenger capacity boat MS Prinzessin Katharina.
Size of Vessel
MS Manon technical details: Length 110 m, width 11.40 m, depth 1.50 m, max. 150 passengers.
Your on board accommodation
This is in a standard, outside-facing two berth cabin on the lower deck. Cabins are available on the middle and upper decks (supplement payable). MS Manon has 75 cabins.
All 2 bed-cabins (14 m2) are equipped with two lower beds; one can be folded against the wall during the day. Cabin facilities include: shower and WC, hairdryer, TV, safe (deposit), in-house telephone, minibar, individual air-conditioning and picture window. Only windows in the middle and upper decks cabins can be opened.
Cabins on the middle and upper decks are accessible by lift. Upper deck cabins have floor to ceiling French windows which can be opened. Middle deck cabins have a large panorama window which can be opened.
Absolutely fabulous holiday from the terrific organisation to the perfect accommodation. We have been on cycling holidays previously in the UK and Europe with a number of different companies but Cycle Breaks are the best. The customer service and support really is second to none. We’ll be back.

On Board Facilities
This boat includes an upper deck panorama lounge, a wellness area with sauna and jazuzzi, plus a library / games room. The restaurant is on the middle deck with panorama windows, whilst the sundeck (partly shaded) has tables, chairs and loungers and is also home to the outdoor swimming pool (8.7m x 4.5m).
There is an on board activity programme and optional excursions programme.
Currency on board: Euro. Mastercard and Visa credit cards accepted.
Important Information
The MS Manon shipping company reserves the right to make changes of routing and programme. In case of flood or low tide, it reserves the right to bridge parts of passages by buses and in extreme situations and to cancel the journey at short notice. No legal right shall be constituted of both situations. (Water level is force majeure). The same applies for officially ordered – previously unannounced – repair work on locks or bridges or in case of undeserved breakdown of engine or power unit.
Please be aware that a cruise ship on the Danube is not only your hotel, but also a machine, working with engine power also during the night. Especially crossing locks and bridges – and the preparation work – may cause noise. If you are sensitive, please bring your own ear plugs.
